What are your check-in and check-out times?

RV site check-in is from 2:00–8:00 PM. Tent sites and lodging check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Check-out time for all accommodations is 10:00 AM.

What is your camping season?

Our RV sites and deluxe cabins are typically open from May through September, weather permitting. Several of our lodging options, including yurts and select cabins, are available year-round.

What comes with a campsite?

Each campsite includes space for one camping unit and one vehicle. Additional parking is available nearby if needed.

Are pets welcome?

Yes — we love furry camping companions. Pets are welcome at campsites and in select pet-friendly lodging units. We simply ask that pets remain leashed and cleaned up after so everyone can enjoy the resort.

Can we have a campfire?

Absolutely. Every campsite includes a fire ring or grill area, and firewood is available for purchase at the camp store.

Why can’t I bring my own firewood?

To help protect Colorado’s forests from invasive pests and tree diseases, we ask guests to use locally sourced firewood available at the campground.

What’s the weather like in Buena Vista?

Beautiful and unpredictable! At 8,200 feet elevation, you can expect sunny days, cool evenings, and the occasional fast-moving mountain rainstorm. We recommend dressing in layers year-round.

Do you offer WiFi or cell service?

Free WiFi is available throughout the resort. Cell service generally works well, though coverage can vary a bit depending on your carrier and exact location in the mountains.

Can I set up a tent on my RV site?

To help keep sites comfortable and spacious for all guests, tents are reserved for designated tent camping areas.

Can I ride my ATV, UTV, or dirt bike around the campground?

Guests are welcome to bring off-road vehicles, though they’ll need to be trailered to nearby riding areas unless they’re fully street legal and licensed for road use.

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer a 10% military discount for active and retired service members with valid ID.

Do you offer a Good Sam discount?

While we’re not currently affiliated with Good Sam, we do offer a military discount for active and retired service members with valid ID.
